Oh My Gosh they are doing it again.  The Harker Heights Frost Fest is back for the 11th year in a row.  Just think some 11 year olds have been going to Frost Fest all their lives!

Santa is back, along with the Gingerbread House contest and the Holiday Farmers Market.

Frost Fest is happening Friday, December 12,  from 5:30PM - 8:30PM in the Market Heights Shopping Center, 201 East Central Texas Expressway .

Frost Fest is all part of Harker Heights grand plan to help you get a good start on a Merry Christmas.

You don't pay anything to get in and there’s plenty of free hot chocolate and cookies. SANTA will not mind if you take pictures with him.  So bring that camera.

If you are one of those creative people, get your construction skills ready to take part in the Gingerbread House Contest. Make sure you get your entry forms in by December 10.  The houses get dropped off before Frost Fest, so everybody can vote. The most important thing right now (besides making the house) is getting your entry form in before Dec 10. Do it Now!  Grand Prize is $100 and Breakfast with Santa!  Check out some previous entries.

While I cannot make an edible gingerbread house, I can shop.  I have a lot of in-laws to buy for and they are very picky.  They want something different.  The Holiday Farmers Market can take care of that.  Lots of different vendors will be there with a wide variety of food, arts and crafts, clothes, quilts, jewelry, even soap made out of honey. I’m talking about the handmade items you will not find in regular chain stores. So you know you are giving something unique.
