Downtowner of the Year award goes to Joe Sheppered

City of Temple announced that Joe Shepperd of Temple was named Downtowner of the Year by the Texas Downtown Association.

The awards program is sponsored by the Texas Downtown Association which recognizes outstanding projects, places, and people from across the state.

The Downtowner of the Year Award recognizes a local resident for the contributions to downtown development and revitalization efforts. This year the judges liked Joe's dedication and investments in downtown Temple. They felt he's made an incredible impact on Temple's downtown.
