One of the FBI's Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives is now behind bars thanks to a tip that led investigators to El Paso, Texas.

24-year-old Terry A.D. Strickland was wanted for fatally shooting two men during a brawl in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 17, 2016. He was placed on the Top Ten Most Wanted List exactly one month prior to his arrest.

Strickland was arrested Sunday, January 15 during a traffic stop in El Paso at 5:10 AM. WITI-TV reported that Strickland was charged with two counts of first degree intentional homicide and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

The FBI stated Sunday that they were tipped off by a call to their El Paso branch.

"We got a tip from our public call line, our public access line stating that, hey, I think I recognize this person," FBI Spokesman Doug Lindquist told WITI-TV. "A total of 18 law enforcement personnel from FBI and El Paso PD were involved in this overnight surveillance and arrest operation."

The citizen who called in the tip that led to Strickland's capture could receive a $100,000 reward.
