Killeen Police Explorer Chick-fil-A Fundraiser

The Killeen Police Explorers are holding a fundraising event on Wednesday 4/15/15 from 5-8 Pm at the Chick-fil-A in Killeen  (1400 E Central Texas Expy).

The kids are raising funds to attend an Explorer competition in Arlington Texas.

Explorers provide assistance to the Killeen Police Department and the City of Killeen by volunteering their time at various community events or activities.

Through weekly post meetings, Explorers learn about various law enforcement techniques and practices such as traffic stops, arrests, search and seizure, fire arms safety, crime scene investigations, fingerprinting, handcuffing, building searches, and traffic enforcement.

Explorers train to compete against other Explorer teams throughout the area, state and even the nation.
