Fisherman Discovers Body in Lake Belton
KWTX is reporting a body has been discovered in Lake Belton over the weekend.
The body was found just before 6 PM on Saturday near Belton Dam and was removed from the lake by Bell County Fire and Rescue. Emergency services tried to revive the woman who was later pronounced dead at the Baylor Scott and White Medical Center.
Information about the person found has not been released. Police continue to investigate and have not ruled out foul play in the incident.
