Flash Flood Watch Issued for Bell County
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for all of Central Texas for Wednesday, April 24th.
Portions of Bell County could see rainfall totals between 2 and 4 inches with some areas getting closer to 5 or 6 inches of rain through this evening. Flash flooding may be possible in urban areas and in spots with poor drainage. Creeks, streams, rivers, and low water crossings could quickly become flooded.
A Flash Flood Watch means that heavy rainfall may occur that could lead to flash flooding. Stay weather aware at work today and be prepared should a Flash Flood Warning be issued for any part of our listening area.
