Flash Flood Watch Issued for Bell County Until 7pm

Heavy Rain is possible at times throughout Central Texas today resulting in a Flash Flood Watch from the National Weather Service.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions are right for localized heavy rain that could result in flash flooding. Additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is possible today.

The watch will remain in effect until 7 PM this evening. The heaviest rain is expected in East Texas and Central Texas today. Stay weather aware throughout the day today and be prepared if a Flash Flood Warning is issued.
