Florida Fugitive Arrested in McGregor Texas

Turns out Central Texas is not a great place to hide.

KWTX is reporting that a Florida man who's wanted in connection with his wife's murder was captured Monday in McGregor. He is now being held for extradition.

Maclovio Salas was found sleeping inside a vehicle outside a home in McGregor.

Florida investigators believe Salas shot his wife at their home in Haines City, Florida while their 3 children watched.

Salas had been the subject of a nationwide search since his wife's body was discovered early Saturday morning.
