Florida Georgia Line may have cleaned up this award season, but that didn't translate into Grammy nominations for the country duo.

Florida Georgia Line has taken country radio by storm this year. With four singles cracking the top 5 on country charts and a number one album, the duo has been raking in the awards this season. Last night, the pair took home six blue guitars, including single of the year, and new artist of the  year. They also took home a handful of CMA awards, and won single of the year at the AMA's. However, when the 2014 Grammy nominations were announced earlier this week, the duo was shut out.

Many thought that pair would be nominated for best new artist, a category they have been dominating in at other award shows. Not only were they snubbed in that category, but they also failed to receive a nod in the best country album and best country duo performance category.

The duo joins other snubbed artists such as Miley Cyrus, who scored 0 nominations this year, despite having 2 massive hits this summer. Other artists, such as Kanye West and Justin Timberlake, were also left out when it came to nominations in the major categories.
