Fun Facts On National Tequila Day

Look I'm not a huge drinker, but when I do I like the strong stuff. You know the type of drink that puts a little hair on your chest (ever since I was a kid, I've never been terribly keen on that saying).

Well, today is National Tequila Day, if that means anything. I think they recycle these "national" days every three months. Anyway here are a couple fun facts and videos about the North American invented Beverage.

In the United States, it is illegal to sell tequila at anything LESS than 40% alcohol (80 proof). In some places such as Canada, you can water it down and then sell it, not in America!

The city where the beverage was invented was shortly named Tequila. Hmm, other fun facts? It's been the cause of a bunch of fights? I don't know I just have two, but hey the 'Three Amigos' clip was funny!
