Ghost Hunters Investigate the Magnolia Hotel in Seguin, Texas
The Magnolia Hotel in Seguin, Texas goes all the way back to the 1840's when it was originally built as a simple log cabin. In 1844, the cabin was expanded into a 3 room hotel and an Indian raid shelter also became part of the property.
In the years to follow, several people would stay at the Magnolia Hotel. KSAT.com reports the story of serial killer Wilhelm Faust saying at the Magnolia. Some say he never left.
Several pictures showing what is called mists or vapors have come from inside the Magnolia Hotel. The ghostly tales of the hotel have been a part of featured programs on the Travel Channel, PBS, Investigation Discovery, Ghost Adventures and more.
The video above is from a public investigation that took place inside the hotel on August 5th of this year. It is said to be smoke or mist that appears in the videos taken that day. Many on social media are not buying the story as whatever the "mist" is, it drifts onto the screen from off the camera. Leaving viewers to wonder if someone is just creating the effect from just out of view of the camera.
