Have You Seen This Woman? Bell County Sheriff’s Department Needs Your Help
There are so many things to worry about during the holiday season. While you're trying to run errands, attend holiday parties, and get Christmas shopping done, the last thing you need is to have your purse or wallet stolen. However, that's exactly what happened to several unfortunate victims at Dana Peak Park recently.
A series of burglaries in early December at the park in Harker Heights has the Bell County Sheriff’s Department searching for a suspect who took several purses and wallets, then tried to go on a shopping spree with the stolen contents.
KWTX is reporting that on December 5th, one of the missing credit cards was then used to make a fraudulent purchase at the Harker Heights Walmart Supercenter.
Walmart surveillance footage provided multiple photos of the suspect, and the Bell County Sheriff's department shared those on their social media page.
The suspect is described as a female with red hair that may be a wig. She also has a tattoo at the base of her neck, which appears to be the outline of a hockey mask or a strawberry. She is wearing glasses, with a dark shirt and dark pants, carrying a blue Louis Vuitton handbag.
