Alright, for some this might be pretty cool. For me, the thought of coming across an alligator with no warning is terrifying. But everything and anything involving wildlife seems to happen in the Lone Star State doesn't it?

Well as it turns out, this event happened to somebody in Midland, Texas. Thankfully though, said alligator didn't attack anyone. In fact, using the info given to us, I'd hazard a guess that our animal friend was trying to beat the Texas heat if anything.

According to KWTX, on Sunday a call came in to 911. The unidentified caller said that an alligator was underneath his car at Airline Mobile Home and RV Park. Officers responded and were able to get the situation under control quickly, even posting on Facebook about the moment:

So hopefully our alligator friend will find a new home with cooler temps and more shade. I'm just surprised the caller didn't freak out when they say the animal in question.

This also got me to thinking though - what should you do if you run into an alligator around your neck of the woods? I know for one thing for sure -you definitely should call somebody around animal control.

One thing is for certain. I definitely wouldn't be caught doing this:

I mean...how do people wrestle alligators anyway? That's a decision for someone who's stronger and far more brave than me. I'd rather not be a snack for an alligator anytime soon.

Also if this ever happens at my place of residence I think I'll be moving:
