Here are a few Ways to Help out Franklin Texas

Our neighbors in Franklin are in a cleanup process, then it'll be a rebuilding process. Here're a few ways you can lend a hand.

KWTX is reporting that the town of Franklin has taken on the motto "Franklin Strong" after the devastating EF-3 tornado on Saturday.

If you're looking to lend a hand, there are a few events coming up that you can participate in.

First off, the Franklin High School Student Council will be making Franklin Strong T-Shirts that they'll be selling for $10.

All proceeds from the sale will be going to families in need. The shirts will have "Franklin Strong" on the front, and "We Are One" on the back. At this time they expect to put those up for sale starting Tuesday night, depending on delivery. I guess they won't be taking advance orders.

Also, Rockdale High School will be hosting the Franklin HS softball and baseball teams Monday night. At that time the community will have a “pass the hat” event with money raised going to people in need.

And of course you can always donate to the American Red Cross or the Salvation Army.
