
Texas Police Now Need Your Help In Death Of Beating Victim
Houston, Texas's law enforcement community is asking for the public's assistance to identify several suspects and their involvement in a young man being beaten to death outside of a convenience store earlier this month. According to the Houston Police Department, the attack happened about 1:10 AM early Sunday morning March 2nd in a parking lot located off Westridge Street just a few blocks west of NRG Stadium.

According to this KHOU article, three men in total were involved in a the beaten that left 24 year old Gavin Melchor fighting for his life en route to a local hospital, but sadly he did not survive. Now, the news is spreading to all of Texas as authorities desperately need information to identify the three suspects, and anyone else in the video that may also know the identity of the men who took Melchor's life.

According to this other KHOU article, Melchor was only a few seconds away from his home that was in the area, and it is devastating for his family to know he was most likely just in the wrong place at the wrong time on his way home from whatever he had been doing earlier on Saturday night. After grabbing some cash from the ATM inside the convenience store, he was then jumped by three men, and the one that initiated the attack is said to have robbed him while he was lying on the concrete fighting for his life.
