Idiots Duct Tape Friend to Yield Sign in Houston

A lot of people stopped to do a double-take as they drove through parts of Houston this week after a man was seen duct taped to an area street sign.

The KSDK video above shows the man being taped to the sign, then features drivers pulling up and asking what happened. The man taped to the sign says, "I lost a bet". Miguel Chavez's friends say the bet was over the Rockets vs Warriors NBA game.

Eventually someone calls the police and a couple squad cars and an ambulance show up to help this poor man. This is about the same time that his friends probably started to feel a little stupid about the attention this prank was gaining. One of Miguel's friends gets ready to cut him down with a knife just as the police show up!

Miguel's friend is ordered to put the knife down or the officer says he will use his taser.

KSDK says the police helped cut Chavez down, then gave him a lift home.
