The Annual Scarecrow Festival at the Taylor County History Center (TCHC) and Buffalo Gap Historic Village (BGHV) is scheduled to run from September 25 through November 4, 2023. All scarecrows will then be moved to the Center for Contemporary Arts (CCA) for Abilene ArtWalk on Thursday, November 9, and remain on view until November 16, 2023.

This is the Big Country's 4th annual Scarecrow Festival; all scarecrows are created by local art students throughout the area. This year’s theme is "Famous Artists of the World". How scary could an "Artist of the World" scarecrow really be? Purchase tickets to encounter the gruesome reality.
