Yeti, Sasquatch, and Bigfoot are well-known names for a supposedly mythical creature that is said to live in the woods of North America. Known for its ape-like face but human-like build, standing around seven feet tall, this creature has been talked about for centuries. But the real question is: is there any actual proof?

Real Or Rumor?

Listen, don’t get me wrong—I love a good conspiracy as much as the next person. But we’ve all seen fake news about monsters before. However, the good people of Belton are saying something a little different.

What Is The Buzz All About?

Recently on social media, a page dedicated to Bigfoot sightings, Bigfoot Society, stated that residents may have seen the mythical creature.
That’s right. The individual reporting the sighting says that a family—a son and his father—were out riding their ATVs on a trail near Belton Lake on March 2nd when they had their encounter. According to the report, it was around 7:00 p.m., around dusk in the woods, when the father and son were enjoying some time together.

How True Does This Story Sound?

While cutting through the trail, the woods suddenly became very quiet. That’s when the father allegedly saw the being. He described it as at least seven feet tall, a solid black shape with hints of brown hair, walking forward with purpose. I don’t know about you, but that’s extremely scary to me. Now, it has been reported that a photo was taken, but I haven’t been able to get my hands on it just yet—this may end up becoming a part two article.

But here’s the real question: Is it really so hard to believe that Bigfoot could be real and hanging out around Belton Lake? After all, the government has told us that there may be life outside our planet. Is this really that far out of the norm? Either way, true or false, the reality is that individuals all around the world have described the same creature when talking about this particular beast. So is everyone lying… or is there actually a Bigfoot running around the United States?
