Killeen Rallies Behind Family-Owned Cambodian Restaurant Following Destructive Fire
Over the weekend, I received some very disturbing news from the owner of one of Killeen’s favorite hidden gems, Cambodian Soul Restaurant. The owner explained that on Monday, a fire took place at the beloved restaurant, and as a result, the kitchen was destroyed.

We’ve talked before about how Cambodian Soul not only brings new flavors and variety to the community but also provides excellent customer service in a welcoming environment. This is truly a loss for the city of Killeen.

Cambodian Soul Needs The Help Of The Community
The restaurant is temporarily closed and is currently being rebuilt. The owners are asking the community to come together and donate, if you’re able, to their GoFundMe account. From my understanding, the goal is $3,000, and as of right now, Cambodian Soul has raised $290.
It's Time For The City To Come Together For The Sake Of This Establishment
At the end of the day, this is more than just a business — this is our home, and we must take care of one another. Please keep in mind that this is a small business owner simply trying to make a living like the rest of us. The establishment has made it clear that any contribution, no matter the amount, would be truly appreciated.
