Remember when hot chocolate bombs were all the rage? Then suddenly, everything edible became a "bomb"; tea bombs, and one of my personal favorites- michelada bombs! It got a bit crazy there, but things have seemed to slow down. However, a new bomb has entered the chat: birria bombs!

These are birria bombs from a small mom & pop shop based out of California called EZ BOMBS.

Traditional Birria is made with goat meat (or sometimes beef) and various spices, herbs, and chiles like guajillo and ancho that adds tons of flavor and softens the goat meat. Once prepared, Birria tacos are paired and served with a side of consommé for dipping.

It's delicious, but also kind of intimidating. If you don't get it right, it won't come out as good as you'd expect. Apparently, these EZ Bombs birria bombs help ease that nervousness because all the spices are already in the bomb.

Just like a bath bomb (which were also all the rage at one point!), all you have to do is throw in the birria bomb to your meat and crockpot and boom! You've got easy birria- and all it takes is an hour and 45 minutes.

It certainly seems like it's a great concept; it's 2023, who wants to be slaving away in the kitchen trying to get the right measurements? Just drop one of these babies and call it a day! If you're willing to try a birria bomb, you might have to wait a bit, they sell out almost immediately! You can find out more here.
