John Stamos Takes on Buc-ees Like a True Texan
At this point, everyone has been to a Buc-ee's except me! And now we can officially add John Stamos to the list, have mercy!
Yes. Uncle Jesse himself. The hair, the smirk himself just made his first Buc-ee’s stop. And I’ll be damned because he did like a true Texan.
Must be nice.
Uncle Jesse Enters the Beaver Kingdom
In a February 12 Instagram video, Stamos shared that he had “a lot of questions” as he walked into Buc-ee’s for the first time. And you could see the exact moment it hit him. The size. The snacks. The wall of jerky. The merch that somehow convinces you that yes, you do need beaver-ear headwear.

He browsed the plushies, hats, tie-dye socks, yogurt pretzels, brittle, you know- the full Buc-ee’s experience. At one point he even debated the onesie, which he would totally look great in.
But here’s where he earned his honorary Texas badge: the beef jerky! Well, actually, a half a pound of beef jerky. He walked away with no regrets!
John Stamos Does Buc-ee’s the Right Way
Now, some folks in the comments were quick to point out that the location he visited might not have actually been in Texas. And sure, maybe it wasn’t, but that’s not the point! He did Buc-ee’s like a TRUE Texan.
He got his beef jerky, he stocked up on merch, and yes- he tried the Frozen Dr. Pepper!
That is textbook Texas road trip behavior.

It doesn’t matter what state you’re standing in. If you walk out with beef jerky and a Frozen Dr. Pepper, you understood the assignment. The internet welcomed him to the club with open arms!
Meanwhile, here in El Paso, we’re still waiting for one. So yes, Uncle Jesse experienced Buc-ee’s before we did. And I’m totally not bitter, I’m just saying if we ever get one here, I’m buying the jerky, the merch, and the Frozen Dr. Pepper, the John Stamos way.
