This cow sanctuary in Waller, Texas gives you the opportunity to cuddle with cows all while donating to the preservation of indigenous cows; because who doesn't want to cuddle these adorable creatures?!

Have you ever wanted to cuddle with a cow? I'm sure at one point, a lot of us have wanted to pet or cuddle a cow the way you do with a dog or cat. Well, now you can thanks to Texas Gaushala, a cow sanctuary in Waller, Texas.

Since 2019, Texas Guashala has been committed to making a positive impact in the world with a goal of preserving indigenous cows and letting people experience the love that these four-legged friends have. They offer a natural and healthy environment for not only cows but other farm animals like peacocks and ducks.

They offer services such as:

  • Cow Cuddling
  • Cow Feeding
  • Cow Pooja
  • Sponsor Cow Feed for a Day
  • Celebrate Your Birthday
  • Celebrate Your Anniversary
  • Pitru Karya (ancestral rituals)

The feedings and cuddlings range in price from $50. Other elaborate events such as blessings and rituals can cost up towards $500. You can check out their list of activities here. They also offer field trips as well as overnight stays at the farm.

Many of us already know that cows are sacred in many Indian religions, Texas Gaushala looks like it's ready to teach many of us why that is, and along the way, feed or pet a cow or two!

You can find out more, including how to donate and how to book a trip, here.
