Fights at NFL games among fans are almost as common as Eli Manning interceptions, but a tiff at this weekend’s New England Patriots-New York Jets tilt may have taken altercations to shocking new levels.
In this video, a man wearing a Jets jersey gets into a physical altercation with a woman who appears to be a Patriots fan after the game at MetLife Stadium. The man actually punches her square in the face as a shocked crowd looks on before another man appears to come to the woman’s defense.
There’s no word on who the man behind the punch is or if he was apprehended by police.
Tensions were clearly on high after the game, since the Jets pulled out a controversial 30-27 win in overtime.
