Join Killeen’s Citizen’s Police Academy

You are invited to join The Killeen Police Department's Citizen’s Police Academy.  Classes start March 4, and continue through May 20th.  Classes will be held Mondays from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm, with one additional class on Saturday, May 4th.  The twelve weeks of instruction, includes presentations on the various investigative and administrative divisions.  It is an educational and informative program that gives citizens the chance to learn about law enforcement efforts in the City of Killeen. Pick up an application at the Killeen Police Department, 3304 Community Boulevard. The deadline to turn in applications will be Thursday, February 28th, 2013, at 5:00 pm.   Applicants must agree to a background check which includes a criminal history inquiry. There is no cost to anyone who enrolls.
