Kanye West Qualifies for Oklahoma’s Presidential Ballot
Is he or isn't he running for president? Last week, Kanye West said he was, then earlier this week we heard he wasn't. Now it looks like he has filed the necessary paperwork to appear on the ballot in Oklahoma. The circus continues.
Kanye West, the rap superstar and husband of Kim Kardashian, announced his bid for the presidency with a tweet that read “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States.” That happened on July 4th. It was reported that he dropped out of the race on July 11.
Now it looks like he has filed all the paperwork to be on the Oklahoma ballot. So, is he running or isn't he? Who really cares.
I'm not advocating for either Trump or Biden and I'm certainly not advocating for Kanye either. Kanye told Forbes magazine that he would model his White House on the movie "Black Panther." How can we take anything he says and does seriously? Would he appoint Thor as his Defense Secretary or Captain America as his Secretary of State? It wouldn't surprise me at this point.
Remember when Joe Walsh was going to run for president? I'd vote for him. Free toilet paper for life.
