Katie Couric Gets Manti Te’o Interview
Katie Couric has one upped Oprah. Katie get the first televised interview with Manti Te'o and his parents.
ABC says the show will air Thursday, January 24. For us that means KCEN at 1pm.
If you are not familiar with the story let me Recap. Manti is the Notre Dame Football Player, Heisman Trophy runner-up who claimed to have a girlfriend he never met.
She was injured in a car crash, which led to the discovery that she had leukemia and then she died. The whole dramatic episode went on for months.
Manti has denied being in on the elaborate hoax, telling ESPN on Friday he believed his relationship was real. It all took place online, through text messages and he said he talked to her on the phone.
