Killeen Man Among Fallen Recovered from USS McCain
20-year-old Killeen High School graduate and Electronics Technician 3rd Class John Henry Hoagland III was one of 10 sailors whose remains were recovered from the crashed USS John S. McCain.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the families of our soldiers. The McCain was damaged in a crash with the merchant vessel Alnic MC in the Straits of Malacca and Singapore on August 21st. The accident is under investigation.
