UPDATE: Police have a suspect in custody.

Christopher Shadrock with our partners at News 10 reports that 25-year-old Morre Johnson faces a charge of criminal attempted burglary of a habitation.

Woodway's Public Safety Department has issued a warning to residents of the Central Texas town after reports of a man attempting to open numerous doors of homes in the early morning hours on Monday.

KWTX's Christopher Shadrock reported that the man was caught on camera by a doorbell camera installed at one of the homes.

The man reportedly tried to open doors of a couple of homes between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM in the area of Lake Forest Parkway and Buckingham Court near Estates Drive. The area is literally just blocks away from the Woodway Public Safety Building.

Authorities said the man they are searching for was wearing a dark color hoodie and at least one glove. Authorities reminded residents in the area to keep their doors locked and to report any suspicious activity in the area.

If anyone has information about the man they are searching for, call Assistant Chief Larry Adams at (254) 772-4470.
