Maru Is Finally Open in Killeen, Texas, and It’s Brilliant

I know I’m not the only person who is tired of traveling outside of Killeen, Texas to find perfect date night spots for me and my spouse. We have some great places to eat around here, but after a while you want something new and exciting. Well, we're in luck.

FINALLY! A NEW PERFECT DATE NIGHT SPOT IN KILLEEN

I’m so excited to say that Maru Korean and Japanese is finally opening up! What makes Maru different from all the other Korean restaurants is this one is a trifecta of deliciousness. Maru not only has the always popular sushi, but you can be entertained with delicious hibachi, and even enjoy one of my favorite Asian staples - Korean BBQ.

Maru is located at 2020 W Stan Schlueter Loop Bldg A, and actually has been been in the Central Texas area for a while. Due to the pandemic, their opening had to be postponed. But like the old saying goes, good things come to those who wait.

I got a chance to check it out this weekend, and this is by far one of the largest and most beautiful establishments that I have seen in Central Texas.

WHY SHOULD YOU TRY MARU?

The idea of mixing Korean barbecue, hibachi, and sushi all at once it was just plain genius. You are killing so many birds with so many stones by doing this, and then turning them into delicious food.

The next time you choose a date night with a little bit of variety and an amazing atmosphere, keep Maru in mind. I promise you you will not be disappointed. The food is 10 out of 10 absolutely delicious, and the customer service is even better!
