Meet Our Week 1 and 2 James Avery Christmas Memory Winners

When we asked Central Texans to share their favorite holiday memories, our inbox was flooded with photos of family and friends full of Christmas spirit.

This is the time of year when we celebrate love, togetherness, laughter, and giving, and vow to do our best to keep that spirit alive all year.

It can be tough as we head out of the Christmas season and back to the average day-to-day, but as long as we keep these memories and the spirit in which they were made in our hearts, we can make every day feel like Christmas.

Thank you to everyone who's shared these wonderful memories with us so far. We wish we could give you all a special gift, but we must choose a winner for each week and we've done so below. They'll be receiving a $50 dollar gift card good at James Avery Jewelers.

Our Week 1 winning photo comes to us from Nancy Steinke of Belton, who had this to say:

"Our family has made Christmas cookies for years using my grandmother's recipe. We make hundreds by the time we are done. This is from the year my mom decorated cookies with us. She passed away in May 2018. It makes me miss her, but it reminds me of all the great memories I have of making cookies with her."
