Mickey’s Dog Park in Killeen Closes for 3 Weeks

Mickey's Dog Park in Killeen only opened two short years ago in 2015, but the city says it's already in need of three weeks of repairs and will close as of today.

The Killeen Daily Herald says Mickey's Dog Park need three weeks to work on the grass. In a press release, the city of Killeen says the park needs to work on seeding and winterizing the grounds before it can reopen.

The city apologizes for the closure as it coincides with 3 weeks of some of the best dog walking weather all year. Mickey's Dog Park is the one and only dog park inside the city of Killeen.
