Tonight is 'opening night' for 'Nature in Lights' at the Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area!

Last night was a chance for sponsors and volunteers to preview the lights ahead of tonight's debut and it was awesome! My favorite part was being able to see the lights with the windows down as temps last night stayed in the low 70's and upper 60's.

It's a nice drive through the lights but keep in mind that the traffic in front of you may set the pace for your view of the lights. Be sure the kids use the restroom before heading off down the trail. You can always stop at Santa's Workshop along the way to make a pit stop and check out the holiday gift shop! It's just about at the halfway point in the light display.

Big Thanks to Fort Hood MWR and all our fellow sponsors for another great holiday season!

Nature in Lights will open nightly 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM from November 17th to January, 7th. Cost of admission depends on the size of your passenger vehicle.

  • Car, Mini-vans, and Pick-up trucks cost $15
  • Vans, Limo's and RV's cost $30
  • Passenger Vans (seat 24) cost $50
  • Large Bus's cost $75

If you keep a sharp eye out, you'll see a "Seasons Greetings from Townsquare Media" sign along the way! Happy Holiday's Y'all!
