I saw Martin Scorsese's fantastic 'The Irishman' over the weekend. Even though it only billed around 7 million at the box office and cost over 100 million to make, you have to watch it. Don't let the low box office draw discourage you from investing some time in what is a must-see film.

The reason for the low box office numbers could be the fact that the film is 3 hours and 20 minutes long.  I'm sure that's what hurt it but believe me, critics are saying they feel it is one of Martin Scorsese's best films ever. That's saying something considering his resume.

Joe Pesci in particular delivers one of his all-time greatest performances, and his role is a bit different than we've seen him play in the past. It's a nuanced performance, so I can't really do it justice here. You've just got to see him in action.

Check it out and let me know what you think. If you've already seen it, share your thoughts in the comments.
