We all have those moments in life where we think something is completely broken. You get mad at said item, and then begin planning on how much it'll cost to repair or get rid of the damaged goods. I almost reached that point recently.

I had just gotten home from a day at the station and was simply relaxing. However, I kept hearing a dripping sound. It was absolutely driving me up a wall.

I kept looking around and finally pinpointed the source of the problem. It was my washer. Now, my washer has caused problems in the past, and I was about ready to lose my sanity over it.

Water was dripping inside of the water, and I figured a quick wash would stop the dripping. So I loaded in the last of my dirty clothes, and hoping a simple was would do the trick.

Barely any water came out, and I had a fear that my washer wasn't working any more. Until I went to my faucets and turned them to reveal there wasn't any water flowing there either.

Well, to say I had one thought go through my head is a lie. About 20 bounced around in my mind. At one point I thought I missed a message from my complex saying the drought was affecting our area.

I finally poked my head outside my apartment to ask somebody if there was something up with the water. As it turns out, the water had been turned off to fix something. I conveniently hadn't checked my phone to reveal a notice had been sent about the water being shut off to fix something.

So in short, take it from me, pay attention when warnings are sent out! I know I'm not the only one who this has happened to, let us know via our station app!
