Terrifying Video Shows Plane Headed To Houston, Texas Having Engine Issues
Video has recently surfaced of a Southwest suffering an unnerving moment as it prepared to take off you Houston, Texas. Here's what is known at the time of writing.
Video Shows Southwest Plane Have An Issue With Engine
As reported by CBS News, Southwest Airlines Flight 3695, with the plane model being reveal as a Boeing 737-800, encountered a problem. Before the plane was set to take off, the cowling around on the engine was torn off. You can see the video here:
CBS News reports that thankfully that the plane was able to make it back to the airport where it took off from, Denver International Airport. In addition, the 130 passengers were able to be placed on another plane to get to Houston, Texas.
The Boeing 737-800 that returned to the gate to be examined by the Southwest maintenance team. In addition, the FAA will also proceed with their own inquiry into the incident. CBS News reveals that the FAA stated the plane delivery occurred in 2015, and CFM produced the engine in question.
Mounting Issues For Boeing
Problems for Boeing have been growing ever since the beginning of 2024. The first instance of issues appearing was with Alaska Airlines and a door getting blown off the aircraft due to a missing door plug. Various other problems have since been reported, placing many eyes on the company.
