Riders Stranded as Power Failure Stops Fun at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

A brief power outage at Six Flags Fiesta Texas left several riders stuck way up high Saturday afternoon.

Video of stranded riders began showing up on social media that showed passengers dangling above the park on both the Superman ride and the Giant Swings! Yikes!

KHOU reports that around 5pm Saturday afternoon that Sydne Purvis with Fiesta Texas’ communications department confirmed "a brief power outage". All the people stuck on the rides eventually got off.

I'd have to say that's maybe the only thing I don't like about roller coasters. If I was ever stuck on top of one, I don't know that I could "climb down" on my own. Forget that.
