Rotten Apples Will Help You Keep the High Moral Ground
Are you making a stand on the sexual predator world of Hollywood? If so, you might not be able to watch a movie you liked at one time. Now there's a web site that help you stop watching good movies that are affiliated with alleged jack holes.
The site is Rotten Apples. A spin on the rating service Rotten Tomatoes. But all you have to do is type in the name of the movie, and it will tell you if someone associated with the picture has been accused of bad behavior. Not proven bad behavior, just accused. It gives you the option to, you know, pretend you live in a country where you're innocent until proven guilty.
In the end, the option is all yours whether you'll still watch the picture, but at least now you have a vehicle to help you take the moral high ground. That way you can feel better about yourself as you eat your brussels sprouts.
I took it out for a test drive. Star Wars is clean. But, (and this is scary) there is a link that you can click if you want to claim that someone from Star Wars is guilty of sexual misconduct, and they'll fix it as soon as possible. And I guess when they say "as soon as possible" they mean after the accusation has been proven completely. (I'm just kidding. I'm sure that's not what they mean.)
Bambi is also clean. I guess all those rumors about Walt Disney don't matter one bit.
Pulp Fiction is just plain filthy. Also, it has 3 people who've been accused of sexual misconduct attached to it. The Weinstein brothers, also John Travolta. Seems he's been accused of touching and flashing a male masseur. So I guess the "Look Who's Talking" movies are also tainted.
So, if you want the moral high ground, then save Rotten Apples to help you out.
P.S.
"Debbie Does Dallas" has no issues. Just saying.
