Food is important to life here in the state of Texas. When there is a recall however, many people take heed of the warning and look at the food they've purchased. Half the nation, including Texas, is now looking at specific types of salad dressing to get rid of due to a recall.

What Salad Dressings Are Being Recalled?

As revealed by CBS News, there are multiple types of salad dressing that have been pulled from store shelves. The situation actually began back in the month of November, when Costco first sounded the alarm that something was wrong. The release was sent out on November 7th, 2025.

The main issue with the dressings specifically is the onions inside them. Per CBS News, 3,500 cases of multiple dressings were affected. The onions were reported to have a "black plastic planting material" in them, thus making them harmful for human consumption. Thankfully, a list was released of what dressings have the issue with the onions.

What Dressings Should You Consider Returning To The Store?

The dressings listed were sold in Costco and Publix. The list, provided by CBS News, is as follows:

- Caesar Dressing served at Costco Food Court
- Caesar Dressing served at Costco Service Deli
- Creamy Poblano Avocado Ranch Dressing and Dip
- Hidden Valley, Buttermilk Ranch
- Pepper Mill Regal Caesar Dressing
- Pepper Mill Creamy Caesar Dressing
- Ventura Caesar Dressing

If you have purchased any of the products, between the time period of 10/17/25 and 11/9/25, you should return them immediately to the store you bought them from.
