As election season is in full swing here in Texas, candidates for multiple offices are advertising. One contender for state's House of Representatives recently put out an ad that has turned some heads.

Sally Duval's Ad That Has Turned Heads In The State

Sally Duval is a Democrat in Texas that is taking on the current representative for the state, Carrie Isaac, in the upcoming election. One of the hot topics currently in the state of Texas is none other than the legalization of writing. According to The Texas Tribune, Marijuana is currently not legal in the state.

However, certain cities in the state have passed laws that decriminalize the drug in question. But, lawmakers in the state haven't necessarily accepted the passage of those laws. For example, Ken Paxton, the Texas Attorney General, has put forth legal cases to stop them.

Per International Business Times, Duval knows the ad is a bit unorthodox, but she's ok with it:

"Texans have had enough of typical politicians paying lip service to important issues without ever actually putting their money where their mouth is."
