Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for Bell County

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Bell County until 7pm, along with a Wind Advisory until 8pm.

A cold front is moving through central Texas and causing winds to pick up to 30 to 40 mph gusts at times. Showers and Thunderstorms are currently dropping dime size hail over areas of central Texas. Storms will begin to leave the region by this evening.

The biggest risk for strong to severe storms will occur south and east of Sulphur Springs to Greenville to Hamilton.
