Spooktacular! The Great Central Texas Pumpkin Carving Contest Is Here

Spooky season is officially upon us, and that means it's time to pick a fat, juicy pumpkin to carve!

With Halloween rapidly approaching, it's the perfect time to head to the pumpkin patch at the Robinson Family Farm at 3780 White Owl Lane in Temple to find the perfect pumpkin to turn into a jack-o-lantern.

Pumpkin Carving Contest - Show Us What Ya Got!

We want to see the best of Central Texans' pumpkin carving skills, and there's even a prize worth $200 up for grabs!

From now through Sunday, October 31, we'd love if it you'd send us a pic of your scary, funny, or just plain cute jack-o-lantern. We'll include it in a gallery right here on our website, and our judges will pick the best of the best to take home the prize.

What We're Looking For

Whether you carve a spooky face, a beloved character, a local landmark, or something hilarious, we'd love to see what you and your family come up with.

Get wild and creative with it, and don't worry about having more than one pumpkin in your pic: the more the merrier! (Do try to keep it PG-13, though.)

Where Can I Find The Perfect Pumpkin?

Remember: The Robinson Family Farm in Temple is the perfect place to pick your pumpkin this year.

Not only do they have beautiful pumpkins in their patch, but your family can enjoy a whole day of games, corn cannons, archery, tractor train rides, bouncing, delicious snacks, and live music.
