
State Fair Of Texas Sees 400,000 Fewer Visitors This Year
The State Fair of Texas has finally concluded. With many people visiting the fairgrounds, plenty were entertained this year. This year wasn't without its issues however.
What Did The State Fair Of Texas Offer This Year?
The State Fair of Texas had plenty of entertainment, concerts, and of course, the yearly contest in football between Oklahoma and Texas. This year, the Longhorns claimed the coveted Golden Hat as well! So there was a lot going on during the fair's time.

But while many were enjoying the event, there were concerns about those who were trying to get into the fair itself. It was reported before the State Fair that high schoolers would not be able to get free tickets like they once were able to. While tickets were still available to high schoolers with a discount, some stayed away.

Now, that the event is over, the numbers have come in for total attendees. Were there less people at the State Fair of Texas this year?
The Results Have Surfaced, How Many People Attended The State Fair of Texas?
As reported by CBS News Texas, the State Fair of Texas saw around two million visitors this year, While this seems like a great amount, this isn't the normal amount, with the dip in patrons being 400,000 less than last year. Many once again pointed to the costs of going to the fair that kept them away.
Time will only tell if prices will go down for next year's event.
