Suspect In Killeen 7-Eleven Stabbing Arrested

A suspect believed to be responsible for stabbing a woman while robbing a 7-Eleven in the 1400 block of Rancier Avenue in Killeen has been arrested.

After releasing surveillance footage of the robbery, police received a tip that led them to 23-year-old Stuart Burton. Burton has been charged with aggravated robbery and is currently in Killen City Jail awaiting arraignment Friday.

Police say Burton stabbed a 49-year-old clerk and fled the store with several cartons of cigarettes. The victim’s injuries were serious but not life threatening.
