A sequel to 1994’s ‘Dumb and Dumber’ seemed like a silly idea until ‘Dumb and Dumber To’ went and made $36 million in its opening weekend. Now, the sky is the limit for the aging idiots played by Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels and the thought of a third film (‘Dumb and Dumberer’ is not official canon) doesn’t seem all that crazy. In fact, the new film is already waaay ahead of you. If you stuck around through the end credits of ‘Dumb and Dumber To,’ you already know that the post-credits scene teases a theoretical third entry in the series.

'Dumb and Dumber 2' (officially titled 'Dumb and Dumber To') might not be hitting theaters until November (you've already waited 20 years to see it, you can hold out a few more months), but stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are already hard at work on the promo trail.

The 'Dumb and Dumber 2' trailer is here, and it shows that Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels haven't lost a step in returning to Harry and Lloyd's idiotic shoes. Sure, late in the game sequels aren't always great, but this suggests that the magic could very well be back.

The first 'Dumb and Dumber 2' trailer will officially arrive with '22 Jump Street' next week, but you don't have to wait until then to get a new look at Harry and Lloyd's grand return. A new poster debuted online and it showcases the return of a major character from the original film -- yes, we're talking about the stupid car shaped like a dog.

We've near dedicated our lives to tracking the many movies finding new life as TV series, and the latest might prove the most metafictional example yet. Among its many future TV offerings, Paramount is reportedly eying development of a TV adaptation of Jim Carrey's 1998 dramatic piece 'The Truman Show,' the reality implications of which already have us going cross-eyed.

The first 'Dumb and Dumber 2' posters have officially hit, not only reaffirming that this movie is indeed happening, but also calling back to two of the classiest suits we've ever seen grace the silver screen. You know which ones we are talking about ...

We had previously seen a handful of photos from the 'Dumb and Dumber 2' set, but up until this point, we haven't seen anything official from the upcoming sequel. That all changed today as directors Bobby and Peter Farrelly posted the first official 'Dumb and Dumber 2' photo to Twitter.

Warner Bros. made a pretty dumb (or was it smart?) move to dump the Farrelly Brothers' 'Dumb and Dumber To,' but Universal has swept in to rescue the sequel from production limbo.
