National Weather Service expects Central Texas to see lows in the 20's and 30's over the next few days, with wind chills making it feel even colder.   Temple's homeless have a place to go. The Temple Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has activated the Emergency Warming Center Plan to provide a temporary warming space for homeless or distressed persons in the city.  Temperatures will likely fall  below freezing tonight through Thursday
morning with wind chills in the lower teens.
Warming Center locations are:
• Victory Ministries, 305 South 18th Street (men)
• Humble House, 613 South 7th  Street (men) (women and children)
• Transformation Station, 503 East Central Avenue (men)
The warming centers will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. thru January 17, 2013.
