I just finished the last show of the week for Noah and Mitch in the Morning, and now it's time for me to go full throttle on standup comedy. Tonight, I'll be performing at the Chocktaw Casino in Grant, Oklahoma, and then tomorrow I will get in my car and come back home before I go do shows at both the Comedy Mothership and the Sunset Strip Comedy Club on 6th Street.

Is the Comedy in Austin Any Good?

I think that Austin has the best comedy scene in the world right now. I run a show at the Sunset Strip Comedy Club called Punchlines and Punishments, and I have always hated producing shows prior to doing this one. Between the amount of talent that is here, and the eagerness of the crowds take in the comedy and give off the laughter, it's almost impossible to have a bad night. Last night while I was onstage one of the door guys passed me a note that simply read "Shane Gillis". This meant that I was going to be bringing up a surprise drop in spot by none other than one of the most famous comedians in the world right now...Shane Gillis. You're not going to get that anywhere else in the world except for maybe New York or Los Angeles.
