Texas Lands Two On Best Regional Fast Food Chain List
We all have to eat at some point during the day in Texas.
Of course, we all get hungry don't we? For all of us, we might bring something to snack on while working, while others may bring an entire meal for the day. Others may leave the workplace for a moment or two to eat something and take a break from the hustle and bustle.
So where does one go in the Lone Star State to eat? There's almost too many choices it seems like. Everyone has their top favorite of course.
But two fast food eateries in Texas have received national recognition by individuals who read USA Today. What could the two eateries be?
Two Fast Food Restaurants In Texas In USA Today Readers' Choice Top Ten
To find out, we turn to the previously mentioned USA Today poll. Landing at number nine is none other than Whataburger! The big orange restaurant that everyone in Texas loves was described as:
"This quick-service concept, now operating in 16 states, has earned a loyal following for its patty melts, saucy burgers, and breakfast taquitos (available throughout the night)"
Whataburger landed at number nine on the list, but up two spots at number seven was Taco Cabana. Further details as to why it was ranked there:
"The Texas-based Taco Cabana features a wide variety of menu items you're probably familiar with: tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and enchiladas...With a number of breakfast options and a larger dessert menu than most taco-based fast-food spots (think churros, sopapillas, and more), it's no wonder it's become a beloved eatery for many."
So, it looks like once again, Texas is on a food list for a good reason. We'll be visiting these eateries soon too!
