WATCH: Texas Man Tries To Board Flight Without A Ticket

After a long vacation, some of us are very excited to get back home to Texas.

Yes, our time away from the Lone Star State could've been much needed, but as they say, there is indeed no place like home. So after resting and relaxing, the journey home begins. Some of us drive, both others fly.

Flying of course requires a bit more preparation and money, but some places are just too far to drive. So packing bags, getting through security, and most importantly, getting food before the flight are of utmost importance.

But one Texas man tried to do something that many of us will simply be scratching our heads at. What did he do you ask? He tried to get onto a flight, without buying a ticket.

Texas Man Tries To Board Flight Without Paying

The strange details of the case were revealed by NBC DFW. According to reports, Wicliff Yves Fleurizard was set to head home from Salt Lake City, Utah. After boarding a Delta Air Lines flight to Texas, he was discovered inside the bathroom of the plane before takeoff.

After telling a flight attendant his seat number on the plane, the attendant went to the seat, and discovered a unknown female in the seat. After confirming she indeed paid for the ticket and was listed to be on the plane, the aircraft was brought back to the gate to see where the issue was.

Further investigation revealed that Fleurizard wasn't supposed to be on the plane in question, in fact he was supposed to be on Southwest Airlines flight headed to Texas. Fleurizard, instead of using a buddy pass given to him by acquaintance, tried to get home quicker by taking a photo of the unidentified female's ticket, and scanning it at the gate.

NBC DFW states that Fleurizard is being held on a federal detainer in Salt Lake County at the time of writing. The morale of the story? Don't take a photo of someone else's ticket at the airport!
