Austin, Texas continues to bring the receipts about being the "Live music capital of the world," with their recent Coca-Cola Sips and Sounds Summer Festival, and with headlining stage super stars like Marcus King and the Marcus King Band, they should legitimately consider amending their slogan to read as the "Best live music capital of the world."

You may know me as a concert reviewer, radio personality, or album critic, but there is no denying that what I am at my absolute roots is a music enthusiast. I can honestly say that discovering Marcus King at an early age (he was just 20 at the time), and being in the position to play his music on the radio to share its incredible value to everyone has been a great privilege in a 20 plus year career.
Having the opportunity on more than one occasion to speak with is always greeted with incredibly disarmed and real honesty that you do not often get with artists. That is just one of many reasons I am so excited to share this video with you as he talks about his new album Mood Swings, and the events of his life that lead to its existence.

Currently Marcus King Band is playing as the support act for the Chris Stapleton tour, and playing select dates around the country like he did for the Sips & Sounds Summer Festival in ATX. If you have never seen Marcus King in concert, no matter the set length, you are long overdue.
