Texas Mom Arrested For Sending School Child To Hospital

Details have come out in regards to mother in Bexar County being arrested after her involvement in sending a school child to the hospital. Here's what is known.

Details Of The Incident

As reported by KSAT 12, a warrant placed for the arrest for Jennifer Lynn Rossi. The affidavit states that deputies were summoned to Legacy Traditional Schools-Alamo Ranch on Tuesday, March 5th. Officers were brought to school after a student in the institution fell ill.

The report reveals that unnamed student being feeling unwell after drinking was originally believed to be Prime Energy Drink. However, the other student, who was 10 years old and gave him the drink in question, told law enforcement it wasn't the drink mentioned.

KSAT 12 reports the 10 year old gave the unknown drink to the unidentified student, as his mother ordered him to. The mother, 45 year old Jennifer Lynn Rossi, told her child to give the drink to student, to stop the student from bullying her 10 year old son.

Rossi also admitted to making the drink, as per the affidavit, she told law enforcement and the principal.

Rossi also told officers, as written in the affidavit, that she worked in a nurse and that the drink was not harmful.

Legacy Traditional Schools also reported to KSAT 12 that Rossi's student will also face repercussions:

"The student who initially brought the drink to school will be subject to disciplinary actions in accordance with Legacy policies governing student conduct."
